Policies
Vaccinations
|
To safeguard the health and well-being of all our guests, all
dog campers must have current rabies,
DHLPP and bordetella
vaccinations. All cat campers must have current
FVRCP and rabies. We need to
see proof of these vaccinations before boarding. By North
Carolina State law, Companion Camp cannot board pets that are not
fully vaccinated. Further, all pets must be free of fleas,
ticks, and worms before visiting.
|
|
Although Companion Camp maintains a sanitary facility, in a
camp setting our campers do encounter nature's insects. For
their protection, we require that our campers be treated with
a comprehensive insect repellent such as Frontline Plus or
Advantix.

pet's food if you prefer. All food brought from home must be
in clearly labeled, rigid food storage containers limited to
appropriate amounts for your pet's stay.
Companion Camp recognizes that some pets require medication.
Our staff is experienced in administering nasal, oral, and
injected medications. Owners should bring all medications in
their original containers with full veterinary instructions.

Roommates

Dogs in the same family are welcome to room together. However
if they have difficulty getting along, we reserve the right to
